CTE – Elective Class
The CTE elective (Career Technical Education) is a class that is focused on Career Exploration. Students will work in small teams to engage in authentic problem-based learning experiences while discovering their interests and aptitudes. This elective is designed to allow students to experience different career pathways, whether it be college or certificate pathways. Students will use technology to enhance productivity, utilize critical thinking skills, define problems and persevere in solving them, demonstrate creativity and innovation and apply academic and technical skills. Students will work through a series of hands-on learning modules such as:
